WfMC standards compliant XPDL workflow for JBoss

Together WfMC XPDL Workflow for JBoss is an enormously flexible and extensible WfMC XPDL and OMG Workflow Management Facility compliant Java Workflow Engine.

Process definitions are based on WfMC-XPDL (XML Process Definition Language) without proprietary extensions.

XPDL process definitions can easily be created using the graphical Together Workflow Editor.

For execution of serverside system activities the WfMC Tool Agents API is supported. Many standard toolagents for common tasks are included.

XPDL embedded into the JBoss J2EE environment

Together XPDL Workflow for JBoss offers full embedding into the JBoss J2EE environment.

The engine API's are available as JBoss compatible Enterprise Java Beans (OMG statefull and WfMC stateless) which can optionally also be deployed as webservices.

The fully customizable web administration and worklist client for JBoss can be configured to use EJB's or an embedded POJO version of the workflow kernel.

MS Outlook 2007 tasklists can be used as your workflow worklist based on our new Outlook integration scenario without any need for client side installations !

A native web service wrapper is available (if you want to avoid the EJB overhead) to deploy your workflow services into the network.

A WfXML standards based service can be deployed to enable runtime communication with workflow editors and / or other workflow server instances (even from different vendors).

A command line utility can be used via POJO, EJB's or webservices to execute administrative tasks.

The Swing based administration application can be configured to use EJB's or webservices.
